Apple iOS 4.3.2 update

Apple release out iOS 4.3.1 a few weeks ago, the new rumor has appeared saying that iOS 4.3.2 is about to be released . According to sources iOS 4.3.2 will fix lot of bugs, improve security issue. This is too soon for Apple to release the new update. The iOS 4.3.2 update will patch the untethered jailbreak for both iPod and iPhone.

After few months Steve Jobs announced an iPad, there are lot of so called iPad Alike that claimed to have better function than iPad itself. One of them is JooJoo. I just read the history of JooJoo and it seems that it has relation with Crunchpad that has been exaggerate by Michael Arrington from Techcrunch. How to
Cut the Perspex according to your need. Mine is 4cm wide (because I want to tilt my iPod about 60 degree) 7cm long (same long as the *white iPod accessories), 3 cm height (front) and 7.5cm height back. Attach them together with Perspex glue and it will look like a chair or a seat and. Voila you are done!! Consider this is just for fun; if you really love your iPod Touch spend some money for cool iPod Touch Dock. I desperately need one haha. Tips- to cut a perspex you have to consider the thickness of the perspex also. My current dimension is including the perspex thickness.

If you need to tilt the iPod more than 60 degree just change the height(back) or adjust the width, for me 60 degree is the nicest number.

How To jailbreak iPod touch 2nd Generation Firmware 3.0?

Warning !!
Make sure you are familiar with the DFU mode
Make sure you already updated/restored your ipod touch to Firmware 3.0

Firstly you may need upgrade your iPod touch firmware from current version to the latest version. Download the latest version of ipsw file here http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/

Once you get the correct firmware just proceed with the Redsn0w V0.7 you can download it

Cydelete

This applications will allow you to delete Cydia application without have to enter (Start Cydia, Manage, Packages, (locate package), Modify, Remove, Confirm). Just tap and hold for few miliseconds and you can delete your installed Cydia apps.

Winterboard gives you an ability to change theme, background, dock icons, status bar and everything that related to visual styles.

Mxtube
One of my favourite applications. Mxtube allow me to directly save Youtube video to my ipod touch. But there we some issue with this apps. Sometimes it crash.

Fivelrow
This is not an applications actually. Its a hack to your ipod or iphone home screen. The default interface have four icons in a row but fivelrows allow you to have five but smaller icons. I am not really recommend this since the icons could be too small to tap.

Dtunes
This one is my favourite. Haha.. Unlimited mp3 download for your iPod for FREE!!. Yes for free. Developed by Richard Shearman, let you search and download any mp3 from any webserver.

Icy
Just a replacement for cydia. But it have very nice interface sometimes can crash when you install it both with the cydia. I recommend cydia rather than icy.

Openssh
Usefull to transfer files to your ipod using sftp program like winscp or openssh program. Quite often using it to transfer pdf files into my jailbroken ipod touch. It also useful when you want to make custom icons for your ipod.

Sbsettings
This is must have Cydia apps. This is replacement for BossPreffs and it offer much faster respon than Boss Preffs. You can easily manage your iPod/iPhone settings from any page. Just slide the panel bar and you can access few important settings such as enabling wifi, ssh, 3G Bluetooth and also volume.

Backgrounder
Backgrounder allow you to play music during opening another applications. If that application not using so much memory i think you can use Backgrounder. But if you are playing Terminator Salvation game it will crash. Be carefull using it.

Fontswap
FontSwap is an application to change fonts inside your iPod Touch/Iphone. Once you downloaded the font pack just enabe it inside the FontSwap and feel the different.
